On Friday, January 7th, our 9th grade students did their first Presentation of Learning, or POL, of the 2021-2022 academic year . During a POL at Village Tech, students have the opportunity to showcase their work and knowledge to parents and community members. These projects and works can range in content from one to all subject areas and can also take on many different forms that can vary with each student.
During the 9th grade POL, students presented work on the topic of genetic mutations, which they had been learning about in Biology. Some of the students even tied genetic mutations into a Twizzler helix where they were able to demonstrate some different types of mutations and in turn able to teach peers and community members about their mutations. We are so incredibly proud of our students and we encourage you to come out for our next grade level POL to see what VT is all about!
